Harvard Book Club July Meeting
The July meeting of the Book Club will be on July 14 at 7:30 p.m. at the home of Connie Vecellio (2795 Maple Springs Blvd, Dallas 75235). We will discuss Wolf Hall, by Hillary Mantel, which is a fictionalized biography documenting the rapid rise to power of Thomas Cromwell in the court of Henry VIII through to the death of Sir Thomas More. The novel won both the Man Booker Prize and the National Book Critics Circle Award.
For the August 12 meeting, we will read Perfume, by Patrick Suskind and we will read War Trash by Ha Jin for September 9. Please note that the Club generally meets on the second Wednesday of each month.
