Harvard Book Club August Meeting
The August meeting of the Book Club will be on August 12 at 7:30 p.m. at the home of Adrienne Dominguez (3701 Turtle Creek Blvd., #12BR, Dallas 75219). We will discuss Perfume, by Patrick Suskind. An acclaimed bestseller and international sensation, Patrick Suskind’s classic novel provokes a terrifying examination of what happens when one man’s indulgence in his greatest passion—his sense of smell—leads to murder. Garlan Braithwaite assures us we will never look at the perfume counter the same! For the September 9th meeting, we will read War Trash by Ha Jin. Please note that the Club generally meets on the second Wednesday of each month.
